But I reckon that if he's developing well it can't be IS (which severely affects development, I believe).
If you find anything out, please let us know!Loren Stowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02029794638872184342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7502307737528869885.post-26391443770687910912010-02-01T21:15:50.721-08:002010-02-01T21:15:50.721-08:00First off... hi there long lost blogging friend......First off... hi there long lost blogging friend... I've been gone for a long time.

Sydney started doing something similar for a few weeks and it totally freaked me out. She would look up with her eyes as far as she could, then shaked her head slowly back and forth like she was saying NO-no-no-no. She would be totally engrossed in this activity, then just stop and move along. I was completely panicked, asked the doctor, ECI and OT. No one had and answer and after a week or two she just stopped and didn't do it again. I think in her case she just thougth it was fun. I hope all is well with FinnJeanettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12378780987070152860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7502307737528869885.post-55135715461997237202010-01-29T19:13:07.625-08:002010-01-29T19:13:07.625-08:00Cael has IS and it does not sound anything like wh...Cael has IS and it does not sound anything like what he has. (Hope that makes you feel better!) He was diagnosed at 15 months, btw and he flopped forward. He had all sorts of weird jerks, arm stretches, eye rolling, etc. and none of them were seizures. They all stopped too when we put him on a cocktail of reflux meds. We had no idea Cael had reflux even.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14575874565944297594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7502307737528869885.post-28489666201737558602010-01-29T15:39:19.807-08:002010-01-29T15:39:19.807-08:00Definately get it checked out. In addition to neuro, I would also ask about getting a thyroid panel. Low thyroid levels can cause this too. In the mean time, you might want to try to get a video of it if you can. That way the doctor can really see what is going on, 'cause you know it NEVER happens when the docs are standing there. LOL! Sending good thoughts & prayers your way.

Steph and ChristopherStephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08323989778846355329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7502307737528869885.post-9518899357629003912010-01-28T19:18:55.255-08:002010-01-28T19:18:55.255-08:00Definitely sounds like seizure activity. It definitely sounds like seizure activity to me and I'd get him in for an EEG asap. I remember Christie's son from http://taylorvillethree21.blogspot.com/ was having similar episodes and it did turn out to be a form of epilepsy. You might contact her if she doesn't respond here.
