I've got to get Finn into a better routine

He still naps at will on and off throughout the day and then wants to be put down to bed for the night at 6:00 p.m.! The last couple of nights he's been so crabby and obviously tired by 6 and I've kept him up until 7:00, and by then he's on the verge of completely falling apart. Hmmmmm . . . I'm thinking an ideal schedule for now would be up at 6:30, naps at 8:30 - 11:00 a.m., 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and to bed by 7:30 - 8:00 p.m. Will have to work on that . . .

Haha! I was going to email you today and ask you if Finn was on a napping schedule yet! I feel like Dylan is still SO random with naps...hm, what to do, what to do?
The schedule you wrote out sounds great to me : )

Yes, that's an ideal schedule. :)

Ah, the elusive schedule. Claire wasn't on a schedule until 11 months, but I think that was my fault, not hers. We're still at the "look for patterns" stage here with Jasper, but he is 2 full months younger than Finn. Let me know how it goes!

Hi Lisa, This is Joyce. Thank you for leaving a post on Sarah's blog today. I purposely have been holding back on sharing her story because I wanted her to have an opportunity to share many of her successes first. I have been reading your postings for the past few weeks and I so appreciate your openness and willingness to share your feelings. So many times I say to myself, I remember feeling the same way. Then I got to your post about the Buddy Walk and I sorta laughed because we just went to our first this year and Sarah is 19. Please don't feel like it is necessary to get obsorbed by the ds groups and events. If it is a natural fit, it will happen in time. Right now just celebrate that you have a beautiful - and he is a such a handsome little guy - 6th child. Hope the schedule starts to fall into place for your sake.
