All in due time . . .

Check him out:

This is the first time Finn has ever walked with his push toy, and he did it completely spontaneously, all on his own. I've tried standing him up behind it, and he's always just firmly refused by collapsing his legs. But look at him go now! Unfortunately, I wasn't home this morning during the excitement, but my fabulous eldest son, Kevin, was quick to grab his video camera to record the procession. And Finn was kind enough to show me his new trick when I got home.

It's funny . . . this always happens: just when I think he's never going to do something, he goes and does it, the little rascal.

Yay, Finn! We're still at the collapsing the legs when I stand him up to it stage, so this is really encouraging!

Yay Finn! I LOVE his cheering squad :) What a great bunch you have, and even remembering to record it for you. How totally cool.

Yay Finnian! I just started following, and am trying to play catch up (reading that is). My LO is 15 months old and we are always wanting to capture moments like this. That was so nice of your oldest son!

Go Finn! Love the team effort :-)

We are so so close to that first independent step and I am all worried I will be in Eastern Europe when it happens and your darling Kevin will not be here to capture it on video for me! (Can he come train my mom and my mil?)
