This and that

I went to bed at 9 last night and slept very soundly :) Finn didn't wake me up until about 4 a.m. I do have a full-blown case of laryngitis as of this morning (my kids are probably counting their blessings! Actually, Lilah just thinks it's hysterically funny - I think she thinks I'm just playing around, doing a funny voice) . . . I knew I was coming down with something. Anyway, feeling better anyway - it's amazing what a few hours of sleep can do for a person.

Because I have almost no voice, I had Michael call the geneticist this morning. He had to leave a message and was told that he likely won't get a call back until this afternoon.

I also cancelled what would have been Finn's first P/T appt. in a few weeks that was scheduled for this afternoon (remember, his PT has been doing missionary work in Cambodia), as I would feel bad about getting her sick. So hopefully I'll hear back from her and we'll reschedule for next week. Our contract has been amended now to provide for weekly P/T for Finn. And I do think I'm starting to notice delays in him :( Not big ones, but he just doesn't seem to be progressing. Physically, he's still doing pretty much what he was doing a month or more ago, and no more. I'm trying not to get down about it. This just is the way it is, and we just have to provide him with every opportunity to meet his potential, whatever that may be.

Speaking of P/T, I'd like to get his therapist a holiday gift. What to give, though? Any ideas?
