When I got home from getting my nails done, I was telling Michael that there was a woman there getting her nails done who had Down syndrome. Annabelle, age 4, was listening to the conversation and said to me, "Mommy, did you get your nails done too?" "Yes," I said. She then asked, very seriously, "And did you get the syndrome too?"
