Finn's 12-month well check . . .

. . . was today. Really pretty uneventful. He weighs 18 pounds 2 ounces - which is AWESOME. I think all the weight gain trouble he had early on has scarred me a little because I still weigh him on the baby scale at home a couple times a month. So, he's officially tripled his birth weight, and I am obviously so pleased about that. And truth be told, except for Lilah, he weighs more than any of my other babes did at a year old! He is also 28 inches long now and is in the 50th percentile for weight, height, and head circumference on the Ds growth chart - so excellent! No shots, as we are still declining vaccines for him. He did have to have blood drawn, however, to check his thyroid, as well as iron and lead levels, and we are awaiting a referral back to the audiologist for another hearing screening.

That's it!
