He did such a great job!!! And it's always fun to see how big Finn is getting. Ryan (my 11 year old) watched it and enjoyed it. It's good for everyone to see. Thanks for taking the time to video it.
I love your kids! (The matching doos were too cute, and Finn was an adorbale distraction...) but what Kevin said was so awesome that his message should be heard by everyone. SP could get some real pointers from that boy. Honestly, Lisa, you must be so proud.
This is great. My 12 year old, Nic, watched it with me. I agree Finn was an adorable distraction and Kevin was a great advocate. He's so comfortable in front of the camera, too. Thank you for sharing this -- I"ll be sharing it, too. :-)
amazing
I posted the video on my blog as well. He says it better than I ever could.
Kevin is so mature! The way he was even holding wiggling Finn- very mature and caring! (I am not going to use the word maternal, just mature!).
So so awesome...
Wow, Lisa! What courage that Kevin shared this speech with his school! What a great kid, so mature at 13!
And Finn. Well, he's just too cute for words.
This was wonderful!!!! Thank you for sharing!
This was absolutely amazing! Way to go Kevin!!!!
It made me cry to see how deep Kevin's understanding of prejudice is - it's clear he has lived it with Finnian.
Thanks for sharing - I'll be sure to pass it along.
I'll say it again... you done good. And Kevin did AMAZING! I plan to share this...
Should be very proud of your son. His words brought me to tears! What a fine your man you are raising! Kudos!
Fantastic! Yet again, you are such a lucky woman, Lisa.
But I must say Finnian did not sound impressed with Lincoln!
Lisa, thanks for posting this video! It was perfectly timed for me to show my son and one of his friends. Kid to kid communication is sometimes better received than just another blah-blah-blah from a nagging mom...especially one who sometimes can't seem to find the right words. Lucky for me Kevin nailed 'em!
Kevin, I loved your speech when I read it and it was ten times better when you delivered it! Nice work!!
Oh Lisa!! I just had a free moment to watch this and I'm so deeply touched by Kevin's love and understanding. Oh I hope my older boys grow up to be an advocate like Kevin. Just amazing and YES Finn is an ADORABLE distraction and excellent reminder why this issue is so important!!!
STANDING OVATION!
Impressive. Finn sure has an awesome big brother.
What an amazing man Kevin is growing into.... such compassion and understanding and maturity. Finn has a great advocate and you must be one proud momma!
Way to go Kevin!
Hi Kevin,
I just watched your speech with my son Joshua (he is just a Month older than your brother).
We live in Germany, so you can see how many people you can reach.
